What a gem of a recording. I did notice that the piano doesn't sound as loud as it usually did during live shows so you can really concentrate on his vocals. Beautiful version of Indian Sunset, his voice is so heavenly. ❤

Those of us in radio programming have to walk that line between maintaining maximum ad revenue to pay the bills, and the artistic integrity of the music we choose to play. I never saw any reason in playing half of "American Pie" with that awful single edit, or cutting down Dylan's "Like A Rolling Stone" like the original part 1/part 2 single, nor did I program this horrible 3 min 45 sec edit of "Tiny Dancer". The single edit of The Eagles' "Lyin' Eyes" took out 2 minutes and an integral part of the story of a lonely married woman who sought the company of a young guy, so we played the full 6-minute version the way the artist intended. Occasionally I had to edit a song either to reduce a bit of repetition in order for us to play it to reduce burn out, or to keep in a cold ending that was faded out early on a single to emulate playing the full version. My goal was to do a slick edit so the listeners would never notice. "Tiny Dancer" was such a great track from Madman Across The Water that I felt it was perfect the way it was. Sure, we could have played the tacky edit and another 3 minute song in that hour, but who cares? I'd rather play a great long and compelling hit for six minutes rather than two annoying, crappy pop hits that could wait. I know we couldn't play a six minute song in busy morning drive, but that's better than playing a butcher job edit like this to annoy and alienate hundreds and thousands of listeners as they start their day. This never affected our ratings like many programmers would lead you to believe.

I saw Elton many times in the 70’s and once in the 90’s. I love him. What I love about him is his engagement with the audience, his voice, his musicianship, his presence, his energy. Due to being legally blind I couldn’t always see him well at all but his looks are beside the point of my love of this artist. What’s funny is my brother resembles him very much and would get approached by fans from time to time. He’s a year younger than Elton. But anyway I’m so glad I had the opportunity to go to his concerts and be a part of his live events at the prime of his career. This concert was outstanding!!! Thank you.

I enjoyed the hell out of the Oakland Oracle Arena Billy Joel and Elton John Face to face concert held three days earlier than this show. I had lower level seats, well worth the $$$. During the intermission, I was ahead of a now retired politician in line for the womens restroom. No privilege granted, she had to wait.

Waiting for my carer am in terrible pain i hate them because i can never get through to them they took my medication off me and dole it out to me,i wish i had never agreed to that then i could arrange my own meds like i did before,my carer used to collect it from the chemist and give it to me,but now they don"t they collect it and dole it out to me.They have hidden it so i don't know where its kept
